A call to be patient

A call to be patient !

God is not raising and equipping His army to escape the final war of the clash of kingdoms. He is strengthening us in this shaking and through fiery trials so we might stand and endure until the end.

God’s army shall fight in the strength of His Spirit for the souls of men until the ordained harvest has been gathered.

His true disciples have laid themselves down for the sake of the gospel because it’s always been about souls. We shall endure until the end by the power of His love.

John 15:8 In this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; so shall you be My disciples.

9 As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you: continue you in My love.

10 If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and abide in His love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is My commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 You are My friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.

Does God admonish us to prepare to be raptured before the ordained harvest is gathered, or does He command His people to prepare for war and the harvest of souls?

Joel 3:9 Proclaim you this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:

10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.

11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all you nations, and gather yourselves together round about: there cause Your mighty ones to come down, O LORD.

12 Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about.

13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.

14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: #for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

The harvest shall be a great sign that the coming of the Lord draws near !

Compare what James said with verse 14 of Joel 3.

James 5: 7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain.

8 Be also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws near.

God calls for patience amongst His people until the harvest is gathered.

Now notice that He spoke prophetically about the final generation of fulfillment in the following scripture because the disciples asked Him about the time of the end and to give them all the signs before He comes to redeem us out of the earth.

Many foolishly puts the end and the catching up to be gathered unto the Lord before the prophetic signs.

FIRST THE SIGNS, THEN OUR REDEMPTION.

7 And they asked Him, saying, Teacher, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

8 And he said, Take heed that you be not deceived: for many shall come in My name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draws near: go not therefore after them.

9 But when you shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not yet.

10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in various places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

12 But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.

13 And it shall turn out to you for a testimony.

14 Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate beforehand what you shall answer:

15 For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to contradict nor resist.

16 And you shall be betrayed both by parents, and brothers, and kinsfolk, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.

17 And you shall be hated of all men for My name’s sake.

18 But there shall not a hair of your head perish.

19 #In your patience you will gain your souls.

20 And when you shall see Jerusalem surrounded with armies, then know that its desolation is near.

21 Then let them who are in Judea flee to the mountains; and let them who are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the country enter into it.

22 For these are the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that nurse children, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.

24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking toward those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draws near.

Now notice again the confirmed admonishment to be patient.

Revelation 14: 6 And I saw another angel fly in the middle of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascends up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

12 #Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from now on: Yes, said the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.

14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and on the cloud one sat like to the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in your sickle, and reap: for the time is come for you to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Matthew 24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

God’s bridal sons and daughters of soulwinners shall be kept by Him through it all until the end with a great multitude that shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air after the tribulation of these days. (See Isaiah 4)

Rev 3:10 Because you have kept the word of My patience, I also will #keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come on all the world, to try them that dwell on the earth.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
