A word of encouragement

A word of encouragement
by Pieter Kirstein

Deut 31:8 And the LORD, He it is that does go before you; He will be with you, He will not fail you, neither forsake you: fear not, neither be dismayed.

The Lord our God has never, cannot and will never fail His people. In the whole history of the Bible God has always proven Himself strong on behalf of those that wait on Him. Whenever your strength seems to fail you then His hand is there to hold, protect and guide you through no matter what comes your way. He cannot disown Himself because faithfulness is who He is.

We many times fall to discouragement, anxiety, fear, doubt and unbelief because Satan simply breaks our focus and then we look and focus on ourselves, or the seemingly impossibilities facing us through adverse circumstances. The answer is not in yourself but in your God.

He is more interested in building His nature and character into you than the fulfilment of the blessing or the promises He has given, so stop fighting Him in the process and choose to trust that God is always in control and perfectly knows what He is accomplishing and establishing in your life.

The outcome has eternal value and consequences and the blessings that comes out of tough times always far exceeds the time of pain and suffering.

Isa 43:1 But now thus said the LORD that created you, O Jacob, and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I have called you by your name; you are mine. 2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you: when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle on you.

1Pet 5:10 But the God of all grace, who has called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that you have suffered a while, make you perfect, establish, strengthen, settle you.

Relax in God’s all-sufficiency because He will bring you forth a powerful strong in the Lord vessel of honor through whom He will make a huge impact and difference in this final generation.

Isa 26:3 You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You. 4 Trust you in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
