I say to you that any person or spirit that prophesies that God will take us home before the harvest is gathered is false.
James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and has long patience for it, until he receives the early and latter rain.
8 Be also patient; establish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draws near.
This is in perfect agreement with the prophetic sequence of events in Revelation 14. First the harvest then after comes the wrath.
Revelation 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in midheaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and tribe, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment has come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Again as in James 5 we are told to be patient until the harvest is gathered.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on: Yea, says the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them.
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in your sickle, and reap: for the time has come for you to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.
THEN COMES THE WRATH
17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in your sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.
19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horses’ bridles, for a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
This exact same prophetic sequence of events is confirmed by the Spirit of prophecy in Joel 3.
The harvest is the greatest sign that the coming of the Lord draws near.
9 Proclaim you this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all you nations, and gather yourselves together round about: there cause your mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
12 Let the nations be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the nations round about. (This is the Revelation 14 time of judgment, please compare)
13 Put in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: #for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining. (Compare this with Matthew 24:29)
Now notice that He roars out of Zion.
Because as Malachi prophesied Malachi 3
1 Behold, I will send My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the LORD, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says the LORD of hosts.
This is His first appearing within His Joel 2 army that walks with God in the midst of the fire of His Spirit and holy Presence through which He comes into the valley of decision to reap the harvest. They are those who have been purified by the Spirit of burning. Also read Isaiah 4 that speaks of this and the harvest of the precious fruit that shall be gathered by those whom He caused to ESCAPE.
16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter His voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of His people, and the strength of the children of Israel. (GOD IS THE BLESSED HOPE OF HIS PEOPLE WHO SHALL FIRST COME TO SUDDENLY APPEAR WITHIN HIS PURIFIED BRIDE – Titus 3:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ, also confirmed in Malachi 3:1 and Malachi 4)
17 So shall you know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, My holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
He first comes to appear within His bride to unveil the manifested sons of God who are those who allowed themselves to be conformed to the image and likeness of the firstborn Son.
1 Peter 1:6 In which you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you are in heaviness through manifold trials:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perishes, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honor and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
1 Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to test you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:
13 But rejoice, since you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy.
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in all holy conduct and godliness,
12 Looking for and hastening unto the coming of the day of God, in which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
1 Peter 5
1 The elders who are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for dishonest gain, but of a ready mind;
3 Neither as being lords over God’s heritage, but being examples to the flock.
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, you shall receive a crown of glory that fades not away.
