You are not called to speak to everyone.
By Pieter Kirstein
Father once said to me -“stop trying to prove yourself. Just focus on Me and I’ll draw the hearts which I have prepared to listen.”
Jesus is always the only example and in His prayer in John 17 He said the following; 4 I glorified You on the earth. I have accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. 6. I revealed Your name to the people whom you have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, and you have given them to Me. They have kept Your word.
7 Now they have known that all things whatever You have given Me are from You,
8 for the words which You have given me I have given to them, and they received them, and knew for sure that I came forth from You, and they have believed that you sent Me.
There’s only so much that God is going to accomplish through your life if you make yourself available in His service and the message that you carry will offend most people because the majority have their own religious ideas about God.
These we call pet doctrines and idols which men create through mental ascent that erects a false god within their hearts. Those whom the Father planned for you to speak to will embrace the message if He knows that they will listen. Others will hear the truth and reject it to their own demise as with Jesus because remember what the Lord said in Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness to all nations; and then shall the end come.
He said “as a witness” so that men will be without excuse. He never said that all will be saved.
We are nobody’s floor mats. We are led by the Spirit of God.
Also it’s a very wise thing to go before God in prayer then renounce and submit your human compassion under His compassion because Satan loves to manipulate and use our compassion against us to abuse us.
The Lord taught me this lesson at the bath of Bethesda. There were multitudes. Why did He heal only 1 person there?
Because He was not led by the needs of the people. He was led by the Spirit of God and He only did what the Father wanted Him to do.
John 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do: for what things soever He does, these also does the Son likewise.
