God will deal with the civil war amongst believers.
By Pieter Kirstein
There is so much division in the church world today and if this is the reality then obviously not all voices comes from God because He is not the Author of confusion.
Where is the unity of which we read in the following scripture because if the body of Christ truly operates by revelation through the mind of Christ there would not be division, differences and strife. These things does not proceed from the heart and the mind of God and so the Lord must come to address the root issues.
The Apostle Paul stated in 1Cor 1:9-30 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind (THE MIND OF CHRIST) and in the same judgment.
For it has been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? (was any leader or church-founder crucified for us or do we follow the Spirit or men ?) I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other. For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words (the mental ascend of man), lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. (this is Satan’s goal through religion and the traditions and doctrines of men to remove the revelation and the message of the cross by which the power God unites us all as one. If the church does not understand how the power of the cross works then the mind of the flesh remains and denominations and divisions are created)
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God. (God by the ministry of the cross works in His people to destroy everything that would cause division to bring us through the veil and the deception of the mind of the flesh to unite us by His understanding through the mind of Christ in the power and the unity of His love and to cause us all to see and speak the same thing and unite us in one judgment)
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent. Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified , unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness; But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God. (PLEASE NOTICE THAT HE IS NOT REFERRING TO A RELIGION OR DENOMINATION BUT THE PERSON OF JESUS CHRIST WHOM WE FOLLOW) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
Consider your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, has God chosen, yes, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in His presence. But of Him are you in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption.
This same working by the Spirit through the ministry of the cross to unite the body of Christ as one is spoken of in Colossians 3:
1 If then you were raised together with Messiah, seek the things that are above, where Messiah is, seated on the right hand of God.
2 Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth.
3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Messiah in God.
4 When Messiah, your life, is revealed, then you will also be revealed with Him in glory. (God wants us by the working of His Spirit to do everything from the perspective of the throne which is our place and position of authority and victory. Jesus through His finished work on the cross made the power for us available to do what is written in the next verse.)
5 Put to death, therefore, whatever is worldly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. (this is what is meant to take up the cross. After that we receive the gift of salvation through His cross we answer the upward call of God in Christ through our cross by which the Spirit starts the inward healing, transformation and circumcision process. We ask Him to crucify by His power everything in us that’s not of God. The natural man and it’s unrenewed mind, with all his issues, brokenness, emotional wounds, pain and strongholds is what prevents us from seeing God clearly and the enemy works through these things to keep us in bondage and focused on earthly things.)
6 Because of these, the wrath of God is coming on the sons of disobedience.
7 You also once walked in those, when you lived in them; (then we see the call to be sanctified unto holiness in the next verses)
8 but now you also put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and shameful speaking out of your mouth.
9 Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old man with his doings,
10 and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,
11 where there cannot be Greek and Jew, circumcision and uncircumcision, barbarian, Scythian, slave, freeman; but Meshikha is all, and in all. (We are born by God’s Spirit into the order of a new creation and this is why it’s so important to grow up in the Lord by nurturing a daily intimate relationship with Him. Nobody can do it for you. You must ask God to draw you to himself by the power of His supernatural love. You need to on a personal basis to spend much time with God in His word so that He might renew your thinking. How will you ever understand the heart and the mind of the Lord unless you fellowship with God in His word? )
12 Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance;
13 bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as the Lord forgave you, so you also do.
14 Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
15 And let the peace of Messiah rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
16 Let the word of Messiah dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to God.
17 Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Yeshua, giving thanks to God the Father, through him.
The Spirit of God wants to unite a humble people under the authority of 1 Head and that Head of the church is Jesus Christ. We are called to be His body and only His Holy Spirit have the ability to bring us into agreement with the understanding and the ways of an invisible God.
God is the sovereign builder of His church and each child of God must cry out for His supernatural intervention within their hearts and minds to give them the ability to understand the mind of God.
We as Christians are called to walk away from sin and darkness and to follow after Christ our Teacher and to allow ourselves to be instructed by His Spirit in the ways of a holy God because we are called to become like Jesus who is our Firstborn elder Brother and only example.
There should only be 1 church which is the body of Jesus Christ although we are spread abroad and scattered throughout the world. If all members truly hear from and receive understanding from the same God then there cannot be differences and divisions amongst us.
1 I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, urge you to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
2 with all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love;
3 being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you also were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in all.
7 But to each one of us was the grace given according to the measure of the gift of Messiah.
8 Therefore He says, “When He ascended on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts to people.”
9 Now this, “He ascended,” what is it but that He also descended into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.
11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers;
12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Messiah;
13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Messiah;
14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of people, by cleverness in deceitful schemes; (this is why people become deceived because few are radical pursuers of God through personal intimate relationship. If your relationship with God is not the most important thing to you then you will be misled. You cannot have your relationship with God through anyone. It’s a personal thing. The more that you learn to know God the easier you will be able to discern deception and the counterfeit.)
15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Messiah;
16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the proper working of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love.
17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you no longer walk as the rest of the Gentiles also walk, in the futility of their mind,
18 being darkened in their understanding, alienated from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them, because of the hardening of their hearts;
19 who having become callous gave themselves up to lust, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But you did not learn Messiah that way;
21 if indeed you heard Him, and were taught in Him, even as truth is in Yeshua:
22 that you put away, as concerning your former way of life, the old man, that grows corrupt after the lusts of deceit;
23 and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, (Pursue God through His word and through much prayer and fasting because fasting aids to destroy wrong mindsets and emotional strongholds)
24 and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
25 Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor. For we are members of one another.
26 “Be angry, but do not sin.” Do not let the sun go down on your anger,
27 neither give place to the devil.
28 Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need.
29 Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear.
30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.
32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Messiah forgave you.
We are all born into the family of the Father through Jesus Christ and we all start out as babes in Christ and we all start first with the milk of the word just as in the natural because we are all very carnal and worldly when we come to Christ.
Christians need to understand that God is a Spirit and He is holy and as He declares in Isaiah 55:6 Seek you the LORD while He may be found, call you on Him while He is near:
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
8 For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, said the LORD.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.
Understand therefore beloved that to understand the heart and the intentions and the thoughts of God who does not think as the world thinks is going to cause the radical need of the renewing of your mind which is your thought life. God thinks and operates out of an entire different world than man and He is holy.
God is light and there’s no darkness in Him and His desire and intention is to regenerate, renew and transform us to bring us into His world to start to think as He thinks because He designed and created us and He knows what’s best for us but today the majority of His own children are living in rebellion against His ways because they are wise in their own eyes. It’s like many wants to prescribe to a sovereign God how to run His Kingdom and many forgot that we were created to serve Him and His purposes.
Many are still operating and running according to their own ideas, desires and plans and many are still bound within the limitations and confinement of their own thinking and brokenness.
Unfortunately there are no quick fixes in the Christian walk and we need to stay humble and dependant on God who loves us all the same.
Within our fallen flesh we are sinful and contrary by thought and nature and we are full of and driven by our own ideas and opinions which does not originate from the mind and the heart of God. Therefore we need to make use of the spiritual weapons in the arsenal of God’s Kingdom through which the Holy Spirit works to assist us to lay a strong foundation of repentance and to demolish strongholds within our minds, our emotions and deep within our hearts.
We don’t realise how broken and hurt we are through various forms of abuse and trauma inflicted throug the different relationships we were involved in throughout our lives. This is why we see the church in such a state and scary condition throughout the world because few understand the ministry of Jesus Christ. We cannot through religious ideas and deception cover up that which need to be dealt with by an all powerful God.
It’s as God says in Isaiah 1:2 Hear, heavens, and listen, earth; for the LORD has spoken: I have nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against Me.
3 The ox knows his owner, and the donkey his master’s crib; but Israel doesn’t know, My people do not understand.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people loaded with iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly. They have forsaken the LORD. They have despised the Holy One of Israel. They are estranged and backward.
5 Why should you be beaten more, that you revolt more and more? The whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
6 From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it: wounds, welts, and open sores. They haven’t been closed, neither bandaged, neither soothed with oil.
7 Your country is desolate. Your cities are burned with fire. Strangers devour your land in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
8 The daughter of Zion is left like a shelter in a vineyard, like a hut in a field of melons, like a besieged city.
9 Unless the LORD of hosts had left us a few survivors, we would have been as Sodom, and we would have been like Gomorrah. (God gives the reason for calling His own people by these names in Ezekiel 16:49-50)
10 Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom. Listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.
11 “What are the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?,” says the LORD. “I have had enough of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed animals. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, or of lambs, or of male goats.
12 When you come to appear before Me, who has required this at your hand, to trample My courts?
13 Bring no more vain offerings. Incense is an abomination to Me; new moons, Sabbaths, and convocations: I can’t bear with evil assemblies.
14 My soul hates your New Moons and your appointed feasts. They are a burden to Me. I am weary of bearing them.
15 When you spread forth your hands, I will hide My eyes from you. Yes, when you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.
16 Wash yourselves, make yourself clean. Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil.
17 Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow.”
18 “Come now, and let us reason together,” says the LORD: “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
19 If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land;
20 but if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword; for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.”
21 How the faithful city has become a prostitute. She was full of justice; righteousness lodged in her, but now murderers.
22 Your silver has become dross, your wine mixed with water.
23 Your rulers are rebellious, and companions of thieves. Everyone loves bribes, and follows after rewards. They do not judge the fatherless, neither does the cause of the widow come to them.
I say to you by the Spirit of the Lord that few follow Christ today on the road of the cross which is the road of repentance and death to our former ways. You must cry out to God to be purged and delivered from the ways of your flesh for only He has the power to work a work of transformation unto godliness within a people and raise us up to walk in the footsteps of Messiah.
Sanctification through regeneration, transformation and Spiritual renewal is a thing that is very foreign to a great part of the church but the Father through Apostolic and Prophetic reformation is in the process of restoring the ministry of His Son within the body of Christ to those who have ears to hear.
