Jesus showed me a very serious, intense and powerful reality about His coming.
His first SPIRITUAL COMING is to inhabit the bridal sons and daughters of God AS A PURIFIED LIVING TEMPLE, who have laid their lives down on the altar of demonstrated love.
This altar of demonstrated love is the cross unto which we all are called as we present ourselves a living sacrifice before the Father so that He might raise, disciple and train us to be coworkers with Him during the time of the harvest.
This first SPIRITUAL COMING by which we are progressively cleansed into His habitation was prophesied in Malachi, yet most are offended at this first coming because He has to purify His dwelling place by His Spirit of burning.
It costs the sacrifice of everything that might interfere with Heaven’s agenda to become useful vessels in the earth that God can use and this is why we who have followed Him on the road of the cross in obedience unto the death of our former way of life have experienced a complete emptying out so He might fill us with himself when He suddenly comes to appear within His temple.
If most Christians are offended by this first coming through a SPIRITUAL PURGING, then how can they be waiting for the gathering unto Him that will happen exactly as Jesus prophesied in Matthew 24:27 For as the lightning comes out of [the] east and shines even to [the] west, so also will be the coming of the Son of man.
28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered.
29 And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from the heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken.
30 And then the sign of the Son of man shall appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the earth shall mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of the heaven with power and great glory.
31 And He shall send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of [the] heavens to the other.
If His first coming “TO US” to empower us to gather His harvest offends them, then how do people think they will stand when He appears according to Revelation 1:7 Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also who pierced Him: and all tribes of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.
He is first suddenly coming to appear in those who allowed God to prepare them to join Him in the harvest before He comes to gather His elect after the time of tribulation, which was designed by God to awaken the nations in the valley of decision. Joel 3.
We who allowed Him to prepare and cleanse us, know full well that many already fell away because they got offended at the price that love requires to become useful in the kingdom.
We were warned that we need to persevere during the time of His progressive coming through the baptism of fire until He suddenly appears in Malachi 3
1 Behold, I will send My messenger, and He will clear the way before Me. And the LORD, whom you seek, shall suddenly come to His temple, even the Angel of the Covenant, in whom you delight. Behold, He comes, says the LORD of hosts.
2 #But who can endure the day of His coming? And who shall stand when He appears? For He [is] like a refiner’s fire, and like fuller’s soap.
3 And He shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver. And He shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may be offerers of a food offering in righteousness to the LORD.
4 Then the food offering of Judah and Jerusalem shall be pleasing to the LORD, as in the days of old and as in former years.
Then we read in Malachi 4
1 For behold, the day is coming, burning like a fire pot; and all the proud, and every doer of wickedness, shall be chaff. And the coming day will set them ablaze, says the LORD of hosts, which will not leave root or branches to them.
2 But to you who fear My name, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise, and healing will be on His wings. And you shall go out and frisk like calves of the stall.
3 And you shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day which I [am] preparing, says the LORD of hosts.
