The Holy Spirit.
Someone, well known, in ministry recently put out a post and claimed that God showed her that the Holy Spirit is not a Person.
Last night a lady on my Kingdom fellowship group told me that the Holy Spirit is a “she”.
Well let’s look at scripture.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, so that He may be with you forever,
17 the Spirit of Truth, whom the world cannot receive because it does not see Him nor know Him. But you know Him, for He dwells with you and shall be in you.
John 15:26 And when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He shall testify of Me.
John 16: 7 But I tell you the truth, it is expedient for you that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you. But if I depart, I will send Him to you.
8 And when that One comes, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment.
John 16: 13 However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth. For He shall not speak of Himself, but whatever He hears, He shall speak. And He will announce to you things to come.
14 He will glorify Me, for He will receive of Mine and will announce [it] to you.
15 All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and will announce [it] to you.
1 Corinthians 2:10 But God has revealed [them] to us by His Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 For who among men knows the things of a man except the spirit of man within him? So also no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
12 But we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit from God, so that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the] Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 But the natural man does not receive the things of [the] Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
1 Corinthians 12:5 And there are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.
6 And there are differences of workings, but it is the same God working all things in all.
7 But to each one is given the showing forth of the Spirit to [our] profit.
8 For through the Spirit is given to one a word of wisdom; and to another a word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit;
9 and to another faith by the same Spirit; and to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;
10 and to another workings of powers, to another prophecy; and to another discerning of spirits; and to another kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues.
11 But the one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing separately to each one as He desires.
Notice it does not say that the Spirit of the lady, but the Spirit of the Lord.
Acts 8:39 And when they had come up out of the water, [the] Spirit of [the] Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more. And he went on his way rejoicing.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And He searching the hearts knows what [is] the mind of the Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to [the will of] God.
