Lessons of love

One powerful truth God has taught me.

We all need to first look at ourselves before we want to judge and accuse and seek to find fault with anything or anyone.

Who of us are perfect?

What do we have without Him?

We are all deeply corrupted and messed up and broken because we were all abused and hurt by ourselves and others and through the fall of Adam we are all born into the corruption of the sinful nature.

Humility before the One who made us and knows us all better than we know ourselves is to acknowledge that without Him we are nothing and our wretched righteousness are as filthy rags.

The honest and sincere outcry of our hearts must be towards Him.

It can be the most hardcore reality for all of us to acknowledge that we had no part or choice to be even born.

YOU EXIST BECAUSE HE WANTED YOU TO BE HIS ETERNAL COMPANION.

We all have issues.

He created man because God wanted family.

This is why Christianity is not a religion, because religion is a system and seeks salvation through our own efforts.

Adam messed up through his own choice and God placed the tree of the knowledge of good and evil in the garden because obedience is not obedience without the freedom to disobey.

We are not puppets and victims of fate.

God told Adam, His son to have dominion and subdue the earth.

Luke 3:38 Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Because man made the willful decision to listen to the voice of deception (satan) an outlaw fallen angel who’s domain and habitation was the underworld in the pits of hell, Adam fell and legally gave satan his place of authority.

Ephesians 2
Alive with Christ
1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,

2 in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience.

3 All of us also lived among them at one time, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath.

4 But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

5 made us alive with Christ, even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!

God visits every man and confronts all of us through His truth about the realities of life through faithful witnesses like the Apostle John who walked in this life with His incarnated Son born of a virgin.

Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from that time and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of Hosts will accomplish this.

Micah 5:2 But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come forth for Me One to be ruler over Israel, a whose origins are of old, from the days of eternity.

3 Therefore Israel will be abandoned until she who is in labor has given birth; then the rest of His brothers will return to the children of Israel.

4 He will stand and shepherd His flock in the strength of the LORD, in the majestic name of the LORD His God. And they will dwell securely, for then His greatness will extend to the ends of the earth.

Matthew 2:5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written:

6 ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come a Ruler who will be the shepherd of My people Israel.

Joh 7:42 Doesn’t the Scripture say that the Christ will come from the line of David and from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?

1 John 1

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked on, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show to you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested to us;)

3 That which we have seen and heard declare we to you, that you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

4 And these things write we to you, that your joy may be full.

5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleans us from all sin.

8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

To repent means that we are presented with the opportunity to return to the Father of spirits by accepting His plan to reconcile us back to Himself through the salvation and redemption plan wrought out in His Son Jesus Christ.

Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

When we return to the Father of spirits and acknowledge that we are in need of a Savior and we embrace His plan to redeem us back to himself through the sacrifice of His Son, then He accepts us and causes us to be born-again into His eternal family.

God chose Moses to be a prophet and leader of His people until the Christ would be born.

Then in that generation wherein John the Baptist were born, which confirmed God’s plans through the prophets of old the following was written.

John 1

The Beginning

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 He was with God in the beginning.

3 Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.

4 In Him was life, and that life was the light of men.

5 The Light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome a it.

The Witness of John
6 There came a man who was sent from God. His name was John.

7 He came as a witness to testify about the Light, so that through him everyone might believe.

8 He himself was not the Light, but he came to testify about the Light.

9 The true Light who gives light to every man was coming into the world.

10 He was in the world, and though the world was made through Him, the world did not recognize Him.

11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him.

12 But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—

13 children born not of blood, nor of the desire or will of man, but born of God.

The Word Became Flesh
14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. b We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son c from the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 John testified concerning Him. He cried out, saying, “This is He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because He was before me.’”

16 From His fullness we have all received grace upon grace.

17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believes.

5 For Moses describes the righteousness which is of the law, That the man who does those things shall live by them.

6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaks thus, Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)

7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)

8 But what says it? The word is near you, even in your mouth, and in your heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;

9 That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

10 For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11 For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed.

12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Then as His life comes back into us and we are revived out of the death of sin, rebellion and destruction He brings us into a personal relationship with himself and then He starts His transformation work in us as declared in Ezekiel 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

24 For I will take you from among the nations, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my judgments, and do them.

28 And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the grain, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you shall receive no more reproach of famine among the nations.

31 Then shall you remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

32 Not for your sakes do I this, says the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

33 Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt.

34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, instead of lying desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities have become fortified, and are inhabited.

36 Then the nations that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD rebuild the ruined places, and replant that which was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

37 Thus says the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
