Become a living epistle to the glory of the invisible God.
By Pieter Kirstein
As inspired by the Lord the Holy Spirit.
We have been called as sons and daughters of Almighty God. We are called to yield ourselves to the finger of the Author and Finisher of our faith. The finger of God i say because His laws, precepts and statues are no longer written on tablets of stone as with Moses, because we are called to allow Him to write His truth on the fleshly tablets of human hearts to bring change and transformation.
It’s easy to quote scripture like a religious puppet or parrot or even do Bible study to accumulate head knowledge to be boastful but what is needed is to ask the Spirit of God to do the growth and transformation work in us so that we actually start to produce the character, the likeness and the attributes of the WORD JESUS CHRIST through the VIRTUES OF GOD.
We must ask Him to rid us of all religion and hypocrisy because we can be one thing in front of people to put up a show but WHO ARE WE WHEN WE ARE ALONE?
Are we religious stage players or are we truly becoming like Jesus?
To quote scripture and to become an expression and demonstration of the WORD are two very different things. The gospel of Jesus Christ of Nazareth should be demonstrated by the power of His Spirit through living epistles for all the world to read.
To become a manifestation of the power and the glory of the TRUE AND LIVING GOD means that you must allow Him to take hold of you in the depths of you and submit yourself to the transformation power of God’s word. If you truly desire to become a whole new creation after the similitude of the One from whom we are taken then God as the Master Builder must first be allowed to destroy your old foundations.
It’s like the Lord declared to me one day as I walked into His Presence – “it’s what the Lord has wrought into you”
We are as clay and God is the Potter.
That word “wrought” is interesting because it means the following;
Become a living epistle to the glory of the invisible God.
Definition of wrought
: worked into shape by artistry or fashioned
: processed for use
: beaten into shape by tools : hammered
: Made or fashioned in the specified way
: What has shaped or fashioned out of a pliable mass.
: to create or transform something into a desired form, design or state
The religious Pharisees studied the scriptures through head knowledge but lacked the revelation, and understanding of the WORD HIMSELF through intimate relationship.
We must ask the Holy Spirit to make the WORD REAL AND ALIVE WITHIN IS.
The higher the building, the deeper the foundation. The great Lord God Adonai said to me from His throne the following.
“Allow Me to work. If you allow Me to penetrate your depths then you will find that I have become your sure foundation.”
LET’S PREACH THE GOSPEL, BODY OF CHRIST, BUT USE WORDS ONLY WHEN IT’S NECESSARY.
It’s easy to preach a good sermon, but how many actually yield themselves to the preparatory work in the school of the Holy Spirit to become a DEMONSTRATED SERMON OF THE LOVE AND THE POWER OF OUR GOD?
2 Corinthians 3
1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?
2 You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:
3 Since you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshly tables of the heart.
Hebrews 10:15 The Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after this he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
This means that the Lord desires to change His children by the power of God’s truth. He wants to conform us to the standard of His truth. He as the righteous Judge desire to bring us into agreement with Himself so that we might walk as Jesus walked. He transforms us by the power of His truth to become like the WORD OF GOD YESHUAH THE CHRIST. He desires to transform us into the habitation of God by making the WORD flesh within us according to Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. We are called to become the voice, the operation and the demonstration of God’s truth to all of creation by the Spirit and the Word that dwells within us. It’s not a religious cathedral thing on a Sunday beloved, it’s a living tabernacle reality as you become the temple of God.
God’s desire is to reveal HIMSELF to the nations in and through His people.
Ezekiel 37:26 Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore.
27 My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
28 And the nations shall know that I the LORD do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them forevermore.
Ezekiel 36 : 23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in the midst of them; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.
2 Corinthians 6: 14 Be you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what partnership has light with darkness?
15 And what harmony has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel?
16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Therefore come out from among them, and be you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
18 And will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
1 John 2:3 And by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments.
4 He that says, I know Him, and keeps not His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But whoever keeps His word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: by this we know that we are in Him.
6 He that says he abides in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked.
Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and taken from the breasts.
10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.
1 Peter 2: 2 As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:
3 If so be you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,
5 You also, as living stones, are built up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
6 Therefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded.
7 Unto you therefore who believe he is precious: but unto them who are disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And, A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them who stumble at the word, being disobedient: to which also they were appointed.
9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:
10 Who in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.
11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as aliens and exiles, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul;
12 Having your conduct honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.
