Practical faith

Rufuse to be a spectator Christian.

His disciples partake through a practical active and a living faith by learning to sacrifice everything which threatens to interfere with being sold-out to God and to live a life fully devoted towards Him.

It’s not a matter of accusation, guilt and condemnation for by grace we’ve been saved through faith into the level of salvation, but it’s a personal thing between you and God if you desire to press on to know Him intimately and to do so takes sacrifice because we are so easily distracted by earthly things and matters.

It’s an attitude of the heart by which you wilfully decide to cry out to Him to supernaturally change and empower you to walk in His ways.

Distraction is the greatest weapon used by Satan to shipwreck kingdom purpose and destiny, therefore it is wise to live before Him in utmost dependance, knowing that He created you for a specific reason and purpose.

We are a many membered body made up of many parts and we are all called to live out the life of Christ as we grow up in Him.

We all start out as 30 fold outer court carnal fleshly born-again babies. God saved us out of the world but the influence of the world is still in us. It takes much Holy Spirit training, discipline and schooling to grow up in the Lord and to learn His ways.

Strong meat, which are the deeper revelations of the scriptures and the mysteries of God, is too strong and seems too difficult and complicated for us when we are babes, but with diligence and patience and through a patient process of renewing our minds we develop, as in the natural, in the things of God.

As we develop we reach the 60 fold inner court stage of a child until eventually we grow into the 100 fold mature stage of manifested sonship which speaks of SPIRITUAL FRUITFULNESS. This is where everything about our lives becomes SPIRITUAL, because as with a butterfly God has taken us from the worm stage, through the cocoon into the glory of a new creation butterfly. When we reach mature sonship after the likeness and image of Christ, we find that we’ve shed the old worm and cocoon stage of our development through seasonal growth. The butterfly stage speaks to us when we rise up with wings like the eagle as He causes us to fly with Him in complete freedom on the high winds of the Spirit.

Isaiah 40:28 Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of His understanding.

29 He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increases strength.

30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

God builds us up slowly but surely as we read in Isaiah 28:9 Whom shall He teach knowledge? and whom shall He make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and taken from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little.

We are being raised up and built up by God to be His temple of living stones fitted together unto His holy habitation and you need to learn patience with yourself because it takes time to build and raise a real masterpiece. The higher the building, the deeper the foundation as He declared in Luke 6:46 And why call Me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

47 Whosoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like:

48 He is like a man who built a house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

49 But he that hears, and does not, is like a man that without a foundation built a house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

1 Peter 2

1 Therefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking,

2 As newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby:

3 If so be you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

4 To whom coming, as unto a living stone, rejected indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious,

5 You also, as living stones, are built up into a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.

6 Therefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in Zion a chief cornerstone, elect, precious: and he that believes on him shall not be confounded.

7 Unto you therefore who believe he is precious: but unto them who are disobedient, the stone which the builders rejected, the same is made the head of the corner,

8 And, A stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense, even to them who stumble at the word, being disobedient: to which also they were appointed.

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

10 Who in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: who had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

11 Dearly beloved, I beseech you as aliens and exiles, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul.

With kindness and much patience the Father works awakening into each of His children and it’s important to understand His loving heart, for some people are more broken than others and they take longer to learn, grasp and to mature.

He loves us all the same and understands each of us personally and uniquely. Never compare yourself to any man because by doing so, you are insulting your own uniqueness within the body of Christ.

Learn to only look to Jesus because He is the author, and the perfecter of your faith. We all have a prescribed course laid out and set before us, so let us run and complete it with the grace and patience which He gives.
