Your mind is not Satan’s garbage dump.
JUNK IN – JUNK OUT
AS A MAN THINKS IN HIS HEART, SO IS HE.
We are called to holiness, oneness and agreement with God which brings us into the blessedness of companionship.
The Christian life is not a walk in the park because we are at war. This war and battle was won on the cross when Jesus declared; “It is finished” but still we are called to overcome by submitting ourselves to the Lordship of God through His Son Jesus Christ. Satan works through deception whereas God is the God of truth.
If we resist transformation by the standard of His truth then our darkness remains and we live in defeat. Every child of God are admonished to undergo and embrace the circumcision of the sword of the Lord which cuts out all darkness and separates us from ungodly influence.
God’s word is a living Word and we are called to embrace it’s circumcision. This circumcision has to do with the progressive cutting away of that which is earthly, fleshly and devilish.
God’s word is like a fire and a hammer that destroys strongholds and bondages. A stronghold in our emotions or in our minds happens through abuse and wrong thinking patterns which is the result of deception.
God is not like the people who hurts us emotionally nor does He blinds us by deception. He is LOVE. He is TRUTH and He desires to be allowed to work to set us free and to heal our hurts.
2 Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh:
4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;)
5 Casting down arguments, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
6 And having a readiness to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.
The Holy Spirit speaks in Hebrews 10: 15 The Holy Spirit also is a witness to us: for after this he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
This means that He wants to transform our hearts and minds with the living power of God’s truth to become like the WORD Jesus Christ. He desires to work in us as a skilled potter until we find ourselves fully transformed into the likeness and image of His Son. Jesus wants to make His living habitation within us but we must be willing to be brought into oneness and agreement with His ways, which is the way of surrender.
You cannot build a personal intimate relationship with God unto perfect agreement and oneness if you neglect the sacrifice of spending much time with Him in His Presence.
He gave us His word because He desires to educate us in His ways and to fellowship with Him by the standard of His truth. Intellectualism breads deception and becomes a playground for the enemy to enter our hearts and minds through mental ascend.
God does not build His kingdom inside of us through human reasoning and opinion for it is written in 1 Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
If we allow Him to educate us through His word then we are truly His disciples and we’ll be judged by the standard of His word and not our own.
Blessed are those who hungers and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled with the wisdom and understanding of God.
Proverbs 1:2 To know wisdom and instruction; to perceive the words of understanding;
3 To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity;
4 To give prudence to the simple, to the young man knowledge and discretion.
5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their riddles.
7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth its fruit in its season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
John 8: 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed on Him, If you continue in My word, then are you My disciples indeed;
32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
33 They answered Him, We are Abraham’s descendants, and were never in bondage to any man: how say You, You shall be made free?
34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abides not in the house forever: but the Son abides ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.
Don’t resist His transforming grace and love. Spend time with Him in His word and ask the Lord to bring you into agreement with Himself.
1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
WHAT YOU FEED ON, YOU GROW ON.
