2Co 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Can’t you see for yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you—unless you actually fail the test?
THE MOST ENJOYABLE INFINITE GREATEST TREASURE WHICH ALMIGHTY GOD CAN GIVE YOU IS HIMSELF AND WE DISCOVER HIM IN THE WAY OF THE CROSS THROUGH A LIFE OF SACRIFICE. HE DIED FOR ME SO I MIGHT DIE TO MYSELF AND ONLY LIVE FOR HIM. THIS IS A BRIDE MENTALITY. TO COME INTO AGREEMENT WITH GOD IS TO WALK IN COVENANT BY WAY OF SACRIFICE.
The Mighty One Calls
A Psalm of Asaph.
1 The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from the rising to the setting of the sun.
2 From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
3 Our God approaches and will not be silent! Consuming fire precedes Him, and a tempest rages around Him.
4 He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that He may judge His people:
5 “Gather to Me My saints, who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”
The best part of Jesus is simply to be with HIM like Mary who loved that yielded place at His feet.
Everything about divine destiny is birthed and naturally flows out of intimacy, and intimacy with God is to allow Him to expose you completely as you learn to abide in His Presence. He is a shining Light which exposes and expells all darkness in us until we become the light.
Zion’s Salvation and New Name
1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not keep still, until her righteousness shines like a bright light, her salvation like a blazing torch.
2 Nations will see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. You will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.
3 You will be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, a royal diadem in the palm of your God.
He indeed is the GREATEST GIFT yet most of His children throws that “GIFT” back in His holy face by living only for themselves being distracted by the lust for temporary pleasure.
Allow the power of His standard of righteousness to expose the true desires and condition of your heart according to 2 Timothy 3
Evil in the Last Days
1 But understand this: In the last days terrible times will come.
2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, without love of good,
4 traitorous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Turn away from such as these!
We either burn with lust for the world or we burn for God through the fiery passion and love of His Spirit and this can only happen when we choose to sacrifice and let go of that which distorts and corrupts pure devotion to Christ.
This is why we undergo a thorough inner purging so that His fiery love might burn up the impurities within through the work of the cross, the ministry of the blood and His Word as we feed on Him daily, so we might be brought to the place where we worship Him in the beauty of holiness as those wholly committed and devoted to Him.
The flow of His love is blocked when our hearts are preoccupied.
In their busy schedule it’s like God became a nuisance to them.
GOD WILL NEVER ORDAIN A DESTINY FOR YOU WHICH EXCLUDES HIM BECAUSE HE IS A JEALOUS LOVER.
If we are offended by the call to lay ourselves down for Christ then it shows that we are offended by His love. We are either full of the world and ourselves or we allow Him to empty us out so we might be filled with Him.
This world is not our home and He called us to invest in that which shall befall us when we enter eternity. We all shall eat the fruits of our ways.
2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments. This is the very commandment you have heard from the beginning, that you must walk in love.
Beware of Deceivers
7 For many deceivers have gone out into the world, refusing to confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves, so that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be fully rewarded.
2 Corinthians 5: 8 We are confident, then, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
9 So we aspire to please Him, whether we are here in this body or away from it.
10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive his due for the things done in the body, whether good or bad.
Ambassadors for Christ
11 Therefore, since we know what it means to fear the Lord, we try to persuade men. What we are is clear to God, and I hope it is clear to your conscience as well.
12 We are not commending ourselves to you again. Instead, we are giving you an occasion to be proud of us, so that you can answer those who take pride in appearances rather than in the heart.
13 If we are out of our mind, it is for God; if we are of sound mind, it is for you. 14 For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that One died for all, therefore all died.
15 #And He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and was raised again.
He unites himself with His bride as we abandon ourselves to Him on the road of the cross until we are swallowed up in Him into complete oneness.
Heb 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who approaches Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him.
A commandment neglected and disobeyed by most, yet they claim to love God.
Jesus the True Vine
1 “I am the true vine, and My Father is the keeper of the vineyard.
2 He cuts off every branch in Me that bears no fruit, and every branch that does bear fruit, He prunes to make it even more fruitful.
3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
4 Remain in Me, and I will remain in you. Just as no branch can bear fruit by itself unless it remains in the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in Me.
5 I am the vine and you are the branches. The one who remains in Me, and I in him, will bear much fruit. For apart from Me you can do nothing.
6 If anyone does not remain in Me, he is like a branch that is thrown away and withers. Such branches are gathered up, thrown into the fire, and burned.
7 If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
8 This is to My Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, proving yourselves to be My disciples.
No Greater Love
9 As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Remain in My love.
10 If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
11 I have told you these things so that My joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.
12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.
14 You are My friends if you do what I command you.
To be a disciple of Christ means that you willfully respond to His commandment to lay down your life in order to take up His.
1 John 2: 3 By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments.
4 If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
5 But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him:
6 Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked.
To become like Him means that you study the scriptures by inspiration of the Holy Spirit because God reveals himself through His word. He shares His heart and mind by the revelation ministry of His Spirit as you passionately pursue Him daily through His word.
He is a Living hidden Treasure to be discovered and where your heart is, that is where your treasure lies.
How will you learn righteousness unless you get to know the heart and mind of Christ, which himself is the Father’s communication to His creation.
2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
It is of utmost importance to pray over yourself according to the truth which is revealed in the Word of God because He works himself into us as we allow Him to.
2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
15 For we have not a high priest who cannot be touched with the feeling of our weaknesses; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Hearing and Doing
19 My beloved brothers, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger,
20 for man’s anger does not bring about the righteousness that God desires.
21 Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and every expression of evil, and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save your souls.
22 Be doers of the word, and not hearers only. Otherwise, you are deceiving yourselves.
23 For anyone who hears the word but does not carry it out is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror,
24 and after observing himself goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
25 But the one who looks intently into the perfect law of freedom, and continues to do so—not being a forgetful hearer, but an effective doer—he will be blessed in what he does.
26 If anyone considers himself religious and yet does not bridle his tongue, he deceives his heart and his religion is worthless.
27 Pure and undefiled religion before our God and Father is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.
