The Armour of God part 3

The Armor of God.

Part 3.

By Pieter Kirstein.

We are called to make a “STAND” for righteousness sake for our God makes His sons and daughters unshakeable, unbreakable, unchangeable, impenetrable and incomprehensible to endure the evil that are coming upon the earth for we are in the prophetic time of The Clash of Kingdoms.

An excerpt from a Stanley Frodsham prophecy in 1965 –

“I am going to prepare you for the coming days by a hard path that will cause many to cry out continually unto Me. For when the going is easy men do not seek Me, but rejoice in a temporary blessing. And when that blessing is removed they so often turn this way and that way but do not come to Me. I am showing you these things in order that you may seek Me continually and with great diligence.

As you seek Me I will open up truths to you that you have not seen before, and these very truths will be such that will enable you to stand in these last days.

As you are persecuted, reviled and rejected by your brethren then you will turn unto Me with all your heart and seek Me for that spiritual life that you need. So that when the tribulation comes you will have that which will enable you to stand.

For many will be tossed to and fro, men’s hearts shall fail them because of trouble on every hand. These days shall be very terrible the likes of which have never been seen before.

Run not to this one or that one for the Lord has so ordained that salvation is in Him and in Him alone. You shall not turn to this shepherd or to that one, for there shall be a great scattering upon the earth. Therefore look unto Him for He will indeed make these things clear to you. You shall not look here or there, for His Wells shall increase your strength and your faith as He prepares you for the times that are coming.

The truths that I have revealed to you must become a part of you — not just an experience, but a part of your very nature.

Is it not written that I demand truth in the inward parts?

It is the truth of the Lord expressed in your very being that shall hold you.

Many shall experience the truth but the truth must become a part of you, your very life. As men and women look upon you they will hear not only the voice but see the expression of the truth. Many shall be overcome because they are not constant in My ways and because they have not permitted the truths to become a part of them.

I am showing you these things that you may be prepared, and having done all, to stand.” (end of quote)

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Why take to you the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness.

The Breastplate of Righteousness.

Psalm 18:4 The LORD is in His holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men.

5 The LORD tries the righteous: but the wicked and him that loves violence His soul hates.

6 On the wicked He shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

7 For the righteous LORD loves righteousness; His countenance does behold the upright.

Psalm 85:9 Surely His salvation is near them that fear Him; that glory may dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

12 Yes, the LORD shall give that which is good; and our land shall yield her increase.

13 Righteousness shall go before Him; and shall set us in the way of His steps.

Isaiah 51

1 Hearken to Me, you that follow after righteousness, you that seek the LORD: look unto the rock from where you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit from which you were dug.

2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bore you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.

3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: He will comfort all her waste places; and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found in it, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

4 Hearken unto Me, My people; and give ear unto Me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from Me, and I will make My justice to rest for a light of the people.

5 My righteousness is near; My salvation has gone forth, and My arms shall judge the people; the coastlands shall wait upon Me, and on My arm shall they trust.

6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall grow old like a garment, and they that dwell in it shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

7 Hearken unto Me, you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is My law; (THE BREASTPLATE COVERS AND PROTECTS THE HEART) fear you not the reproach of men, neither be you afraid of their revilings.

8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but My righteousness shall be forever, and my salvation from generation to generation.

9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Are you not him who has cut Rahab, and wounded the sea monster?

10 Are You not Him who has dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that has made the depths of the sea a road for the ransomed to pass over?

11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

12 I, even I, am he that comforts you: who are you, that you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man who shall be made as grass;

13 And forget the LORD your maker, that has stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; you have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

14 The captive exile hastens that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.

15 But I am the LORD your God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.

16 And I have put My words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of My hand, that I may establish the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, you are My people.

The righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ is imparted to us at the moment of the new birth which means that because of the propitiation in that He took our sins upon Him and died in our place and by so doing fulfilled the righteous requirements of the old Sinaic Mosaic covenant, we as born – again children of God receive justification by faith as we accept Christ as personal Lord, High Priest and Savior.

But this does not mean that we can abuse God’s gift of righteousness and return to the sinful, rebellious and destructive life out of which He delivered us because we are commanded to repent and to allow ourselves to be purified.

Sin is not righteousness and righteousness is not sin for it is written in 1 John 1:

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the children of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the children of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as He is pure.

4 Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

5 And you know that Christ was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

6 Whosoever abides in Him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen Him, neither known Him.

7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for God’s nature remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.

This is talking about willful sinning and in this chapter John refers to the reality of what should be the holy and righteous conduct of a mature born – again son. We are called to grow up in the Lord and yes we all struggle in the beginning of our babyhood stage of spiritual development with various strongholds and weaknesses and shortcomings and imperfections for no child enters life mature and perfect. There’s always a graceful balance concerning the truths we find within the scriptures.

For the kingdom of God consists out of 3 stages of growth. First God’s incorruptible seed is imparted into us as 30 fold fleshly babies then we become doers of the word as we grow and develop and press on past the 60 fold stage of being spiritual children until we reach the 100 fold stage of mature manifest sonship where we begin to really live the life of our firstborn brother Jesus Christ and start to walk as He walked in the glory of God.

The breastplate of the righteousness of our God is the holy standard by which we all must desire to live. He is our righteousness and He protects our hearts as the breastplate covers the chest area. He desires to fill and renew our hearts with the love of His Spirit and the truth of His word for we are called and admonished to grow up in the Lord until we manifest the fruits of righteousness.

Therefore as good soldiers of Jesus Christ the Father cause us to pass under the rod of His discipline as we read in Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh who corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

11 Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them who are trained by it.

12 Therefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

We are called to stand strong and to obey that we might be fully clothed and not found naked. Therefore be greatly encouraged warrior of Christ and wilfully submit yourself to the boot camp training of Lord of Heavens Armies and He shall bring you up in the fear of the Lord and in the righteousness of your God to do that which is good, holy and right.

Proverbs 2

1 My son, if you will receive my words, and lay up my commandments with you;

2 So that you incline your ear unto wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;

3 Yea, if you cry after knowledge, and lift up your voice for understanding;

4 If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hid treasures;

5 Then shall you understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

6 For the LORD gives wisdom: out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.

7 He lays up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a shield to them that walk uprightly.

8 He keeps the paths of justice, and preserves the way of his saints.

9 Then shall you understand righteousness, and justice, and equity; yea, every good path.

10 When wisdom enters into your heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto your soul;

11 Discretion shall preserve you, understanding shall keep you:

12 To deliver you from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaks perverse things;

13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the perverseness of the wicked;

15 Whose ways are crooked, and who are perverse in their paths:

16 To deliver you from the immoral woman, even from the seductress who flatters with her words;

17 Who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God.

18 For her house leads unto death, and her paths unto the dead.

19 None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

20 That you may walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

21 For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the blameless shall remain in it.

22 But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.
