To follow Christ

The doctrine of Christ means to become like Christ. His doctrine is in accordance with godliness by which the Father desires to bring many sons and daughters into glory until they walk as Jesus walked.

1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting over questions and disputes of words, out of which comes envy, strife, railings, evil suspicions,

5 Perverse wranglings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw yourself.

6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

8 And having food and clothing let us be with these things content.

9 But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which plunge men into destruction and perdition.

10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

11 But you, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

We cannot camp on the level of salvation as babies and expect to be brought into the life of Christ as those who are led by the Spirit of God.

We cannot claim to believe in Jesus and even say that we love God but then deny Him by excluding Him from our lives by demonstration through the way in which we live and by this I refer to the fact that if any of us accept His gift of salvation afforded by His blood and sacrifice, how then can we reject taking up HIS LIFE, which is the next thing every Christian are commanded by Christ to embrace in John 15:10 If you keep My commandments, you shall abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father’s commandments, and abide in His love.

11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

12 This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.

13 Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

14 You are My friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.

What does it help to be saved by Him but not be willing to follow Him?

WE ENTER INTO THE FRUITFULNESS OF DIVINE LOVE THROUGH SACRIFICE.

He was clear in John 12 that unless we follow Him through the cross as true servants in obedience unto the death of self and our old former way of life which binds us to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of this life we stay selfish, selfcenterd individuals.

John 12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it abides alone: but if it dies, it brings forth much fruit.

25 He that loves his life shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26 If any man serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be: if any man serves Me, him will my Father honor.

Those who are part of His bridal company follows Him wherever He leads and through the death of self produces the fruits of righteousness. The bride of Yeshua Jesus the Christ fulfils the law of multiplication and have been impregnated with nations and through them the great end-time move of God that’s going to sweep multitudes into the kingdom is birthed.

Do we pray “let our kingdom come and our fleshly will be done or do we submit our lives to the authority of the King of kings and allow ourselves to be completely conquered by His love by which the Spirit of God desires to empower us to live godly lives and to walk as Jesus walked ?”

What does it help to claim that we believe in Christ yet we deny Him by our lifestyles?

The reason He grants us the gift of salvation is to create a personal platform through intimate personal relationship to start to learn His ways.

Did we make it in our previous foolish destructive kind of lifestyles before Christ had to come rescue us from death, sin and destruction?

So why do any of us want to continue to live in the flesh by holding on to our former way of life when the Son of God presents us with the amazing glorious offer to take up His life THROUGH THE DEATH OF SELF which is a glorious work wrought out in those who answer the Philippians 2 and 3 upward call of God unto mature sonship?

In a time of intimate worship in the privacy of my room, Jesus came and stood right in front of me in the spirit world and God declared the words which I wrote on the enclosed picture.
